Hydration is a big part of the equation. Drinking enough water and drinking water that is unflavored, uncarbonated, and free from toxins also is a factor.

So let's talk water. There is such a variety of water out there it is kind of mind-boggling.
“Thousands have lived without love, not one without water.” -H. Auden
But even "plain old clear water" has multiple choices available so I found this interesting article that has a rundown of the 9 types of drinking water to choose from.
There is not one single choice that is the best one for everyone - we all have different needs - so choose based on your goals, preferences, and availability.
And hey, if you want to add some variety to your life choose different varieties and spice up your month.
Let's talk electrolyte water for a sec...
Electrolyte water has become a beverage of choice for so many people. But why? Is it because of the marketing and flavor? We all do need to replace electrolytes in our bodies sometimes and these beverages might be a good choice when you have a good hard sweat after a cardio or muscle burn workout, but how many people are drinking them just because they taste good?
If you do choose one of the electrolyte or vitamin waters because you like the flavor, be sure to check the labels. Knowledge is power - don't just believe it is healthy for you because the marketing says so! Especially note the sodium content and if there are artificial sweeteners. Some also add quite a few unnecessary ingredients and MANY of them sneak in loads of carbs and sugar!
Also, please know that I am not a medical professional so check with your doctor if you need to monitor your electrolytes. This information is only being shared for those looking for tips on staying more hydrated.
Remember - Plain. Old. Clear. Water. is a great choice for staying hydrated!
Happy Drinking!
